IPWA: Individual Preparatory Writing AssignmentPurpose: To facilitate early formative feedback on your academic writing skills, identify problem areas, and make recommendations regarding remedial interventions such as those offered by Ontario Tech University’s Writing Room. Requirements: This 1000 word max (4-page) academic paper should address the theme of “Collaboration” and demonstrate knowledge of at least 3high-quality scholarly sources. The standard conventions of an academic term paper, as described by the APA Manual of Style7 (APA 7), should be followed. Note that APA 7 style addresses manuscriipt elements, page/heading/text formatting, the presentation of tables and images, essential rules of grammar, and the formatting of in-text citations and reference lists. Assessment: This submission will be assessed by the TA as Pass/Fail and returned with one of three responses: (1) no remedial-intervention recommended—demonstrates academic-writing readiness, (2) minor revising recommended—you may consider using a writing coach, (3) major revising required—please use the services of a writing coach.
