Your report will be graded primarily on:
Demonstrating systematic application of the frameworks taught throughout this course (weeks 1 through 8) (70% of the grade).
The second most important component of the grade is whether the conclusions and answers you provide are supported by your analysis of the situation and have made good use of quantitative data and other information available in the case (20%). The professionalism of the slide deck including use of visual displays of the frameworks from this course and what you write in the notes section of each slide is the final grading criterion (10%).
I am expecting your PowerPoint slide deck will include the following sections:
Title slide: Your name, name of case, date, course (one slide)
Introductory Slide: The second slide should a) identify that you understand the assignment and b) list the analytic techniques you wish your report to be judged by. For example, you might write something like:
a) “I was asked to answer six (6) questions in this slide deck using a variety of appropriate analytical and quantitative frameworks from the seven modules in this course including the seven readings and videotaped lectures.”
b) “The frameworks I used include: …” [List the frameworks you used from the following list, keeping in mind the grading rubric: at least 4 analytic techniques must be appropriately used to earn a C; at least 6 analytic techniques must be appropriately used to earn a B; at least 8 analytic techniques must be appropriate used to earn an A.
